| Clare Gilliland |
Clare Gilliland has been a life long fiber artist, only taking up painting and other art media after retiring from a career as a Food Technologist and Home Economist. Her quilts have been on exhibit in several national shows. And she was featured in an article in "Quilt Japan". You can regularlly see her quilts in the Lavender Mountain Quilt Guild annual show at the Rome, Georgia public library every March. She is active as a knitting instructor locally. Married for 31 years to Robert Gilliland, they have eight children, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
