After retiring from Floyd College in 2001, I began my life long dream of becoming an artist. I also wanted something to occupy my time since I was no longer having to go to a job everyday. This is when I started my 'art career'. I have taken many art classes and am currently taking classes from Frank Murphy and Martha Gilbert. I have taken classes from David Mott and Diana Smithson also. I have also had numerous workshops in oil and watercolor painting. At the same time I began creating stained glass. I have glass windows and paintings in several homes in Rome, Georgia and other states as well.
